Alright, so we are officially doing closed beta... but about open beta. How many of you guys have friends that you are going to convince to join up once we make this publicly available? How many friends are you going to ask to join? I'm just trying to get a somewhat decent guess as to where we will be standing once we shift to open beta.

I'm extremely excited to see what everyone has to say / recommend, so please leave comments here or e-mail us! We will be contacting you soon to get your thoughts on all of this...

Steven Wooley says: I think that's the crucial thing - for every 100 or so people we expect about 5 to actually stick around. If the community does get huge, not only would we be happy, but we'd also consider closing off sign-ups and reverting to a closed beta. For now though, we seem to be growing at just the right rate =)

It breathes new life into the community, and you can just ban the people that become unruly.

William Hepler says: It's weird this is show up for me under decks... I also would suggest opening up some more.. I think Public viewable forums would be a nice change, it would be nice to see more traffic on a day to day basis. The News and excitement was at a fever pitch for gencon now it seems so quite.
